I did the mostly rested part. Chased the puppy around, Activities of the day, Feed the puppy, take the puppy out, play with the puppy, take the puppy out, feed the puppy.......rinse wash repeat.

Wow, sounds like everybody's had a rough day, sorry to hear! I stayed home today, still had that real painful sore throat, stuffy ears, headache, general weakness and mizery, lol. Had a nap about sundown and do feel a bit better. Think I might live anyway. MC where do you get off getting snow and keeping it all to yourself? All we got is cold and wind, ugh.

I did get to release the krakens today and they were a little puzzled, not sure they were truly released from prison, but once they were convinced they were free they made a day of it. I was rewarded with two fairy eggs, one brown and one blue, but the blue one was actually frozen to the side of the poop tray and slightly damaged.

I also blew out three of my most unusually colored eggs.

Hey, believe me, you can gladly have the snow. It's 11.1 degrees outside right now. Adding snow is just adding insult to injury but it's just a dusting thank goodness.

When I was out in the coop tonight, I walked into the pen holding the hens I suspected of egg breaking in time to see one of them plop an egg on the floor (standing in front of the nesting box) and three of them descend on it and break it open. I just shook my head and told them they were going to look really good in the dogs' food dishes come spring.

Your eggs are gorgeous. I love the colors, especially the light greens.
