Mmmmmm Fried bologna sandwiches. With mayo. Now you guys done went and did it. I gotta get some bologna and make fried bologna sandwiches for lunch.

I hate self check out. Used it the other day and wanted to take a baseball bat to it. I just enjoy talking to the checkers. I can usually strike up a conversation with them and try to get them laughing. Told one the other day that I used to have the most totally miserable, and difficult job going. I used to be a nurse in a nursing home. But even with that there was no way I would ever want to work their jobs. The young man looked at me with wide eyes and said, Oh, Ma'am, I would NEVER want your job. My jobs nothing compared to what you used to do.

Idunno. I've seen more than one checker reduced to tears because of some horrible person yelling at them for something that wasn't even their fault. I think any time I can make one of them smile, it's been a good day.

They keep changing our weather. Started out at bitter cold and 1 inch of snow. Now it's at 2-6 inches of snow and still bitterly cold. Can you believe these people go to college, get degrees and paid good wages to basically not know what the heck they are doing and usually lie to the public 50% of the time?

I think you get better results with the old fashioned 'weather rock'.

I'm with ya on the checkout. They know me at the cashier's. The Chinese gal used to check us out. Now she's been on the self for quite a while. So I talk with her.

I saw bologna and that pickled loaf stuff my dad will eat..it was all almost if not 7 dollars! That is nuts..I bought clearance bologna back in the summer for 1 dollar! I joke with my family if poo hit the fan no one would be laughing at our 1 dollar bologna,hot dogs and a crazy amount of frozen bananas
