Granny's gone and done it again

Seem non-essential to me, thank you.
Umm..?
Good here! Kids have gone to do the weekly shopping. I cooked some sweet potatoes in the Instant Pot, made a great breakfast. I do love my Instant Pot. 24° here now, FL 27 but I think we might get over freezing today for the first time in ..... forever? Lol!
How can you say good breakfast and sweet potatoes in the same sentence??

Doing OK here. Watched the church service on line. I'm going to eat a bite of lunch then head outside to check coops for water and eggs. The temp is up to 35 but the wind is still blowing strong.
MC I'm sorry your DH fell and Pi is hurt. Was there ice on the porch?
Yeah but I think she just tripped him up. She almost did me last night in the kitchen running between my feet. Just one of these silly phases she's going through.

It's 21 here. Sun was out for a bit but went back under clouds. Supposed to be warming up next week. We are into February now so just a little over a month to go before we start seeing a real swing towards spring.

Dr called them "essential" tremors, they are not essential to me, lol!

What!?! I LOVE sweet potatoes! I mashed mine up with a pat of butter, a swirl of honey and a dash of cinnamon, and finished with a bit of heavy cream. It was almost like having pumpkin pie for breakfast.

MC, Im sorry this happened to your DH and Pi but does he realize she could of saved him from a broken hip or worse. Dogs are very fast to forgive. Lets hope your DH can do the same.
That's what I told him, it would have been much worse if he had fallen harder than he did. He knows dogs are very forgiving. I was sleeping really sound. My upper right arm was hurting me overnight where I had my biceps repaired. Tossed and turned till around 3 then got up and took a tramadol along with some tylenol and went back to bed. Finally got to sleep after that and was dead to the world. Woke up at 5:45 with him yelling for help and her crying her heart out.

aww. Poor guy. That must of been traumatic for him. I know that feeling being there myself a few times. I will say after that first fall I was having a hard time to not do it again
