Granny's gone and done it again

It could have been. DH is also super sensitive. I don't use any soaps with fragrance for that reason. I'm sure he's not the only one that complained. I feel sorry for the nurses too because I'm sure they meet allot of irritable patients. It's what chronic pain does to you. So I tried to diffuse the situation even if it meant giving up home care
Nurses deal with irritable patients every day. It's part of the job. People with chronic health problems, are in pain, sick, or whatever it doesn't matter. You grow a thick skin and smile your way through it. Go home at night, toss back a couple of beverages of choice, take a hot shower, scream into your pillow (or cry into it). Get up the next day, put on your scrubs and do it again because of your dedication and desire to help your fellow man.

Please, if there is a next time, don't hesitate to pull the caregiver aside and tell talk to them They don't want to be part of the problem they want to be part of the solution.

When we were going to the cancer unit it seemed like most of the patients were older then us. There was a children's hospital there as well, but still, I was surprised how many elderly people get cancer
I think it is because our immune systems fail. I can remember an instructor telling us that everyone has cancer at one time or another. The difference is a percentage of people's immune systems attack and destroy the cancer cells while others don't. Don't know if there is any proof of that but if you think about it it would answer as to why so many people with cancer are older..

That makes sense

The tax letter I got is going to be a hot mess. Many words and questions I don't understand. Has to be notarized too.asking for death cert. and will and if there isn't a will Indiana rules are followed concerning all his children..

It also made it harder because he's forgetful so he couldn't remember who the one is that smells so strong so he was irritable with all the therapists and nurses. I feel if I'd have a diagnosis for dementia, it would be easier for them to understand why he does what he does. Like I feel he's paranoid around home nurses now. It's hard for me to explain what I mean but I figure you understand
