I'm with you there. I am so fed up with them i decided to dive headlong into herbalist stuff last year. It's surprising how much actually effective medicine grows in our backyards!

What kind of herbs do you have growing in your yard? We have cleavers, cat mint, yarrow

I think I told y'all about a neighbor woman that was going to teach me how to make dandelion jelly? She said to come back in the spring when they pop up which was a couple months away. I went back and a different woman answered the door. I asked for her and she said she had passed over the winter but she was the new MRS. Made me really sad.

Mom used to make dandelion jelly... And dandelion wine. But that is sad that she is gone.

I'm happy. I have a little space heater under my feet tonight. DH always "puts the stove to bed" at night, which keeps it smoldering so it will start right up in the morning, but it doesn't put out any heat here in the living room for me. Tonight - I'm warm!

Those things scare me. Leaving them running all night while I slept is something Ive never done.
