Granny's gone and done it again

I make my own yogurt too ... when I have room in my fridge! Right now my little fridge is full of eggs! I buy dried starter in packets from Amazon. I usually don't strain it to make it Greek, I just eat it as is, I prefer the softer texture with the whey in it.

My daffodils are starting to bloom too. My late MIL and the locals around here, the old-timers anyway, call them Easter lilies because they bloom right around Easter. We have at least 10 different varieties here on the property.

Is like to stay making it again. The Greek I think is higher in protein and I'm supposed to eat more vegetable protein then meat and dairy

We eat it as is the morning its fresh and warm, but then we strain what's left and usually turn it into various desserts. 😋

It is high protein yes, do you like pumpkin seeds butter and pea powder then? Those are probably my 2 favorite plant based proteins.

Oh, I thought you were saying yogurt is not dairy. Lol.

there is a flower called Easter Lily but it is a large white flower unlike the daffodils.

I need to make it again, too! But ... we already have 3 refrigerators! The big main one. A smaller one for eggs. And a tiny apartment-sized one for cold soda and yogurt from the store. Because the kids won't eat my wonderful, fresh, home-made yogurt! :barnie

Oh yes, I am well aware! I tried and tried to explain that to her. I even bought about half a dozen potted plants with blooms on them on sale from WM right after Easter to plant in the garden and said, See? These are Easter lilies.

Blank stare. No. Those yaller flowers that bloom in front of the house are Easter lilies. These sure are purty but they ain't Easter lilies.

Oh, and those rank orange lilies that grow rampant everywhere? Some people call them "ditch lilies?" Those were "tiger lilies" to her. Never could convince her otherwise of that either. Guess it didn't matter.
