Oh my, that's a long trip! What are you going to do with the gilts? Breed, pet or eat them?

In about 6 months we will breed them. Then the babies will be food for ourselves and others.

My bed and I have an appointment. I woke after 3 hours of sleep to a back ache. I have not gotten back to sleep. Back hurts and very tired makes for a day in bed for me. Everybody else got up about 30 minutes ago so they can all do the work around here.

No, a gilt is a female that has had not a litter. Sow is a female that has had a litter. A Boar is an unfixed male. a Barrow is a fixed male.

We're having a small bonfire/cookout with some friends tonight, so I expect we'll be doing some yard work. What about you?

Morning..... Spent yesterday driving 2.5 hours (took us way longer than that ) to get two 8 weeks old AGH gilts. Trees were down across roads other roads were flooded out.

ok I know gilts are virgin female pigs BUT what does AGH stand ?? type of breed??
