9 months already! Time sure is flying. In Detroit they would fix them (cats too) at 6 weeks. IDK how they could do that when they were so tiny

I haven't had a female pup in years. The ones I've had in the last years were already spayed. I have my male dogs neutered a lot sooner than this...8 weeks usually.
5 to 6 months is ok for a small female.
Lacy has been scratching the side of her face lately, a lot, so much so she's made a sore. Will have the vet look. She scratches and makes a growl sound while scratching. Can't tell if it's her happy growl or not, because she does have a happy growl. She's so fun. Quite the personality. She'll be sitting on my lap giving me that sideways stare, then all of a sudden plop her head on my chest and snuggles in. She talks back. Trying so hard to tell me what she wants. I mean, trying to talk like us, making different sounds while making different mouth/jaw movements. Hard to explain. Pretty cute little munchkin.
