Is that the father-son duo that do the Gillette commercials? Melissa's been showing me those, they are a hoot! But sometimes I think Dad has to be in on it, no way he can be that dumb!

Gone for a couple hrs. and came home to find my peeps dropping like flies!! Yall behave yourselves!
Watching the new NAA and was about to turn it off. The male was so skinny you could count his ribs and he kept spitting everywhere they stayed and slept. Makes me puke to see that. He lasted one day. good riddance!

No. Someone dressed as a plant, sits in a flower pot on a busy sidewalk. When people walk past, he stands up. Watching people's reaction is hilarious.
Or there's one where someone dressed as a statue and sits on a park bench. You wouldn't believe how many people poke, touch or sit beside him to take their photo. He makes the slightest move and they run for their life

Becky, sorry to hear that you fell! I have not had a fall since October, but not spending much time outside.

Thanks, Blue. I'm just glad I didn't hurt myself more than just being sore today. I have Transition darkening lenses in my glasses and they get so dark outside that I just didn't see that piece of loose net in the shadows near the barn. I have a small garbage container that I use to store my netting in over the winter months. I think the wind blew the top off and a piece of netting got blown out of it. I'll make sure it's waited down from now on.

One passed away at three days old, and two were early miscarriages

I also had 2 miscarriages. Thank the Heavens I haven't lost a child.
My sister has lost three.
A 19 month old daughter. A 5 year old son. A 7 year old daughter. All encephalitis. Dr's never knew why they got it.
They did do measures to stop having children. If it was hard on me to watch her go through that pain, I couldn't imagine her real pain. She did ask me with all three, to pick out their clothing for burial.
She had three sons live. Now a Grandmother with a couple of granddaughters with the names of her lost children.

I fell today also. Walking at my park someone was building a ballon arch. It was a little breezy and a couple of balloons escaped. My dogs were behind me. Apparently a ballon came up and spooked them so they went into the backs of my legs and I fell back on my butt. Freak accident. Pretty sure I am fine just sore. My pup made it hard to stand up, he thought I was down there to play with him.

Okay guys, didn't expect you to join the fun but that make three of us that have kissed the ground with various parts of our anatomy so nobody will fall for awhile.....I hope.

@h2oratt our dogs have made us fall that way only ours will hit you on the side of your legs while you are walking and knock you over. That is what happened when Pi and DH tangled together and both of them went down. I seriously don't think they realize that we only have two legs and need both of them to walk. Glad you are like me and the only thing hurt was your dignity. Silly what they will spook at. Worse than chickens with a plastic bag blowing across their run.

Granny, exactly. Funerals tend to be sad and depressing. A COL is a nice alternative, a joyful look back at a person's positive influence on people's lives. Ronnie was a real treasure, so it was a very nice gathering. He'll be missed.

Here we have what we call a viewing, usually the night before and one hr before the funeral, which we also call Celebration Of Life, then to the cemetery. My husband also had a vets burial. Trumpet, guns, and i received the flag that was on his casket, along with gunshot shells.
