The ones we grew in FL were about 3 feet tall. There is also a much bigger type, the white bird of paradise. It was taller than our pool enclosure!

Well, 28 healthy chicks have made it to 3 weeks old and outside now. The coop expansion is underway. I'm waiting for my broody to go back to laying before I set more eggs, I want her babies specifically. We should have room for about 30 birds plus some growers, so we will see how many hens we can get from the batch!
