I cracked the shell the rest of the way around but didn't pick any off. Still hoping to let it finish up itself.


I picked up Lefty to check the navel. From bed bubba yelled "you got that duck out I'm so proud of you!" We've been watching it all day. Navel is still a little puffy, but down is nice and dry so it's not exposed like chick navels.

so the new one hatched while you were checking the other ? Bubba ! LOL

Nope. I pulled the cap about halfway off. It's still doggedly trying to zip, seems in correct position, but worried that it's just exhausted.

Hopefully it can push out now.
