Big commotion in the garage. #2kid out there and I hear him say Holy Shirt! (- r) He had walked into the garage and thought hubs had dropped a rope or something on the floor... then it started moving! Huge gopher snake, and now it's hiding under the work bench. Camping!!! One of your snakes is here!

I let the "big" birds out to free range a bit. Quartz is talking to the babies. And Davey went over to the older ones trying to figure out who they were lol he's like here's a feather!

Wishing, Im sorry about your car. I still miss my first car.

And you know what was even sadder, they are just going to destroy the car. I thought going to the Pick-N-Pull they would at least part it out first, but she said they are not allowed under the rules of the program. Newish battery and tires just going to waste. I took the floor mats out... they're still good! Didn't know they were going to waste the whole thing!

$300 is what I paid for this years, it's taller than last years. But it sure ain't gonna hold 8-10 chickens like it says. Not unless they are on top of each other! I've got 6 8 week old chicks in there now and it's crowded.

I think the ISA was the worst so what, a yr.? weather is hot to me. but 80-84 was the worst one.

I was going to build one but all this rain has put me behind. Still will probably build another I need a bachelor pad. The 8 week old cockerels are trying to mate the pullets

Well, we ushered the snake out of the garage. Wasn't as big as expected, only about 3 ft, but I guess when you aren't expecting it in the first place... The thing was HISSING at us really loud. Unfortunately, it didn't go very far, hiding under the pallet that the water barrel sits on! The dogs were trying to decide if the snake was a toy or not. Belle was growling at it! Wish it had got it out of the yard, bit at least it's not in the garage anymore.

Thankfully wishing I've not seen a snake this year hope it stays that way. They use to be really bad out here when I was younger. But they've been fewer and fewer over the years.
