Poor bunny! Did the cat kill it? Somebody's pet. Not a Flemish unless it's a baby. Grown Flemish at least twice as big as a cat.

what would I be looking for ?

Sepsis. Dark line running up the back of his leg from the surgery. Stitches under a cast seems like a bad idea to me.

There was another gopher snake today, out by the layer coop. The mob was a little freaked out. I encouraged the snake to move along. It was longer than the one i the garage. Later tonight I saw what looked like a vole tunnel. Wish I had seen it sooner... would have put ol snakey in there!
