Granny's gone and done it again

13 eggs today. 2 hens still trying to be broody,squalking at me every time i come in their pen. Only 1 other nest in their pen for7 hens. Bout ready to put them outta the pen

i haven't been on much..guess i should so i could get use to this site..I had another chick to die,speckled sussex,i only have 2 left out of 6..i think one of the bigger ones killed her..

took me forever it seemed to write that post.my virus protector came on said site unsafe..

Uh oh, that's not a good sign. Sorry about your chicks. So sad to lose the littles. Didyou see the 6 littles that granny just got last night? 4-legged furry ones!

I have the same problem. 4 broodies and 3 nest boxes. I put a cardboard apple box on the floor... one of the broodies moved in there and it's big enough for another hen which works out great because the broody protects the eggs from the dang jays.

Ate pumpkin with Splenda& cinnamon for afternoon snack. My new pantry cabinet was 1 inch too tall to get past the beam separating den from kitchen. Dh micrmanaging from Cleveland said cut in in half so i did & now my hip is hurting so bad i can t move it into place. Have to finish it tomorrow.

yes.it wasn't meant for me to have them i guess and they are beautiful,the one that died today was the biggest and prettiest one.

Probably. But she shouldn't. She's got a page up on FB and some people interested in helping, but her computer has been acting up lately. Hoping it didn't die...

i wish she could get a new laptop.i would help her get one if i could..maybe keep one kitty for Robert?
