How many are you getting Twist ? You know they cant go swimming for a while. They dont have oil in their feathers/fluff and can get chilled just like a chick.

so he wont need the yeast ? What if he feeds chick starter . How much yeast would be used ?

Niacin is only necessary if you feed chick starter. I've never given any of my (small number ) of ducks extra niacin with the Nutrena, and they're all healthy. Then again, so were the ones I raised on plain chick feed, so

I remember mine took forever to feather. I am assuming he wont be there to dry them off . Thats why I recommended no swimming .

Yes, they take a while... Much longer than chooks. So cute to see them running around like giant day-olds.

I'm pretty happy-go-lucky on duck raising... Works for me. I raise 'em like chooks, they're all healthy and happy, so I'm not really the best person to ask on those specifics.

yep a flatish pan BUT narrow enough they can't jump in .

so twist, flock raiser has niacin in it . chick starter dont and you would sprinkle a tiny amount every day on their food or like you said the vit. in their water but you need a dosage . They drink a ton of water.
