Granny's gone and done it again

Finally called on her break at work. Van BeHIND friends house & they carried her to work.
bah! At least you can quit worrying... until the next time!

Yes we are, hello from hell! 105 now down from a high of 110.
Oh poor you! I'd give you a hug, but it's too forking hot!

OR DO THE LINGS STILL NEED SOMETHING ELSE TO WAS THEIR FACES WITH ??
Depends on if they can get their nostrils under the water. They need to be able to do that for some health reason that I have never actually found out. Banty probably knows.

9 jumbo eggs total I usually end up with a dozen a week total. About 75% of the med and peewee's are Easter Eggers
My EEs are some of the larger eggs. On;y ones bigger are New Hamp and Leghorn.

oh, I think my jubilees are FINALLY laying. On the ground. They are too heavy and I noticed they are sleeping on the ground too. They are more turkey then chicken. Not sure what to do with that.
They need a 2 x 4, flat side up, to roost on. Mine can jump up about 18" but not much more than that, and no flying for sure. It would be better for them to roost off the ground, you might have to make a low one for them or provide steps or a ramp or something.

Unbelievable 100 degrees at 8 pm that is ridiculous.
That's awful! Today was supposed to be the hottest for us, but will be up around the 100 mark all week. :hit The chickens were panting, and even the house bunny got too hot. Belle, my big dog, had a tough day. Only the Seramas like this weather, and even they were pretty quiet today.

as long as they don't crap in the tank no way to totally drain it short of bailing all the water out and then using a wet/dry vac
:lau:lau:lau That'll be the day!

I have pain dr. tuesday then different GS wants to come spend the night. I was shocked. next to the baby. Just did kindergarten. This should be fun. I hope I dont forget to pick him up . It will be on my way home.
Oh, that's sweet. He would be about 6 then.

My cuckoo, Buster Posey, is probably an Eng orp. The breeder did not specify, but said most of his stock are from Eng lines, and Buster is HUGE, so I think she must be at least part English.
these are bound to weigh in at 15lbs. Wish I could weigh thm. They compare with the turkey and she is the broad breasted.

You will laugh but after the babies I had flipped and flooded the brooder 3x in a few days time I gave them a old metal sheet cake pan. They LOVED it!

we were brought up you ate what was served and there was NO other option of different food PERIOD!!!

Same here. And if you didn't finish your plate the leftovers were put in the fridge for your next meal. I'm talking your plate was scraped in a container with your name on it.

I'm really late getting on here tonight.

Tomorrow night starts day 18. I think I'm going to wait until Tuesday afternoon to start lockdown. ACs are still not where I want them. I've not added water since before Wednesday but this rain  Humidity in the house has been upper 40's. Running dry is mid 20's in the bator. :fl That the hatch goes well.
