My EEs are some of the larger eggs. On;y ones bigger are New Hamp and Leghorn.9 jumbo eggs total I usually end up with a dozen a week total. About 75% of the med and peewee's are Easter Eggers
They need a 2 x 4, flat side up, to roost on. Mine can jump up about 18" but not much more than that, and no flying for sure. It would be better for them to roost off the ground, you might have to make a low one for them or provide steps or a ramp or something.oh, I think my jubilees are FINALLY laying. On the ground. They are too heavy and I noticed they are sleeping on the ground too. They are more turkey then chicken. Not sure what to do with that.
