beautiful lillys . explain, they are growing up through the grass . Do you weed whip right up to them ? and if so, How do you keep from whipping them down ?

We weed eat them but not too close. What's left I cut with shears.

Excuse the mess. 8 kittens and 5 adult cats can be hard on the landscaping.

thats too much for me. I end up chopping mine. Used to anyway. Now the weeds are taller and you can see a bloom here and there through them. pitiful. I have a lot.
