If it is a roo there is no problem, I wouldn't be keeping it. As long as other birds didn't pick on it if it was a female I would keep her. Just never hatch her eggs.

Lisa, if u clip it it should grow back normal if it was caused by the pressure from the air sac & not a genetic problem.

I have never had a deformity before & I know what egg it came from, so yes I'm thinking it was caused by not being able to turn in the shell because of the severe saddle AC.

OMG, would so love that Red. Granny even lived in Michigan, but she never got far from the city or visited God's Country. I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful area.

I honestly don't know when we're going to do it but we've discussed it more than once. I know that it will be awhile because of pearls work and school. But Lord willing it will happen. And granny you know that we're not going to come that far without seeing you and your family. Lisa and Rod really loves yall. So I know that we will too.
