Granny's gone and done it again

Ne ha ma.
I'm not sure that is how you spell it in english but you sound it out that way.
Am I close Wish?
 I dunno. I don't speak Chinese!

"Nee how" is an all purpose casual greeting in China. Exactly how you pronounce it depends on what dialect you use. Mandarin is the official language. "Shey-shey" is thank you. They are in quotes because that's not even how you spell them in pinyin. (which is like the official spelling of things using the alphabet-- it's very confusing)

You mean it snows in China? I though they just had fortune cookies and earth quacks? Or am I thinking of California? Wishing?
:lau You got that right! Fortune cookies were invented in San Francisco!

Too squiggly.
Yes indeed. You use the other side of your brain to read characters. My older son was very good at it. Looks like little scribbles to me!

Growing up my neighbors were Chinese. They had taught me Nee how..with a ma/maw on the end, for how are you.

Wishing you had to be in the top of your class in school. You know stuff that amazes me. And I'm being serious when I say that.

Lol! Y'all will get weekly pictures asking opinions. I'm gonna be taking notes like crazy for comparison.
I would be of no help with anything silky related...just warning you now.
