That nugget!!!! Granny, she's back to her houdini type ways!

So I come home. I park near the coop. See some of the girls....okay missing a Marans and sparkles. Look in the coop itself, there's the missing Marans having some water. No sign of nugget. Walk through the coop and run calling her name, the other girls following me but I can't see her. Pry the boards away under the coop and look down, nothing. No signs of a struggle, no feathers, nothing. So I'm walking the perimeter looking for any signs of escape still calling her. Hubs pokes his head out the back door and I tell him I can't find nugget. So he comes out, calls her, right away she pops her head out under the coop on the outside....little brat. So I removed the board by the feed containers so he could shoo her out that way....out she came, had a few nibbles of scratch and then straight for the water. (Cant blame her, it was over a hundred degrees here today!!)

Bloody nugget.

I brought my electric Toro when I moved here. Been using it for yrs. THAT was a joke would whip the grass and not cut the first blade. Havent been satisfied with one since.

I lost a chick . I assume last night. fully feathered. was getting ready to put them in the big coop. No idea why it died.
