Yuri is at the door whimpering, whinning thinking he is going to the farm. And all I did was grab a pair of shoes. And now Beth has joined the whimper party

Haha banty. One of my Marans was so broody last year....this year though she's not feeling it. I need to threaten her with our friend andy again. I swear. That guy....she'd see him and go broody lol. Any time he had to take care of the girls, I'd come home to her broody.

And her half brood....was from when we threatened to have him check on them when we were up to sac for a few days recently lol

Sure 'Andy' isn't on here as sourland? He has the same mysterious broody power. Rumour has it he once dropped his broody GPS and the resulting broodiness spread to humans and other critters beyond just chickens.

I am not sure as her and Yuri took off for the creek as soon as the truck door was opened. Lu and Missallet are NOT sure what to make of him.

Hahahaha. Naw. He actually isn't really a huge fan of the chickens - he tolerated the ones his wife had (he's the reason I got Nugget - it was one of his wife's chickens that went broody and had Noodlehead and he called in a panic for me to take care of him...) and even when I have him take care of the girls he waits until after they've gone to bed to feed and water them lol.

But hey. He's dependable and will make sure the girls are taken care of. Which is more I can say for anyone else up here. Everyone else...caring for the critters comes last on their priorities.

well I get a short day at the farm. As Angie has to work at wally world at 8 pm SO I have to be back in by 2 or 2:30 pm
