Granny's gone and done it again

Got someone coming in the morning to pick up some chicks. I need to pick 2 that look the most girlish to keep. These things are monsters at 2 weeks.


I also need to clean the brooder again they've started roosting on everything in sight. Including the waterer....they knocked it over earlier. Luckily it was close to empty and not full!

I was told to glue a funnel on the top and they cant perch there.

That's a good idea. I might do that. My other ones last year didn't start roosting on things until they were 4 weeks.

Im wondering if a piece of paper rolled up into a funnel and scotch taped on would work? It just have to look unsafe right ?

No, I'll do it in the morning. But I want blues.

They were doing it last week when they were a week old! And I found a silkie doing it too.

Btw looks like 3 blacks. The solid black chicks and the 2 dark blues.
