they do get the deer and pig carcasses after we have gotten everything off they we want/can use. They pick them clean also the thanksgiving turkey carcass

then you pick up all the bones ? seems like a lot of work. I do remember him saying something about depending on how it was hit. That must be what he was talking about.

here   they (county officals) would claim the carcass  and then take the meat to a nursing home,  or  poor house  places like that   BUT  the liberals have stopped that as well.    I think you can now take the animal   BUT  first need game warden's permission   and HONESTLY  depending on where you hit the deer with you vehicle  there could be bone fragments through out the meat  so it no good.

A dog could eat it.. is it really that good?

If I made it a business of eating my chickens I would be way more careful of what I fed them. Including some of my dishes. LOL

In fact illegal to use dogs when hunting deer and game warden can shoot any and all dogs they see chasing deer. AND it is super hard to un-train them

they will in time even get most of the bones gone free/extra calcium and minerals and helps to dull their beaks a little safer for humans when the silly things decide to go broody in the nest box.
