Trade ya. Been nothing but rain. We have flooded areas over the roads. And it's cold! Supposed to be 86 today but so far it's 73. We've not had much of a hot summer this year.

dont skunks travel at night ? I would maybe block it after they are out wandering. No one should be out in this heat.

the 2 goat heads (from butchering) I thru in the one chicken run haven't sprouted although to be honest not much left but bone.

I couldnt feed that to my chickens. I would never eat another egg from them and Im sure its fine to feed them that but the yuck ..

I've smelled it twice...spraying in the yard at the dogs now in the last week and I saw one last night.
So they have only been out at night....Last night when I went to open the back for to let the dogs out I saw it (i must have scared it with opening the door and turning on the light) but I saw it run straight to that hole.


Are you saying I should try to block it tonight?
But how the heck and I gonna know if it came out or not??
Why does it have to be in my yard! <<me whining!

my chickens get all the un-useable bits from what ever butchering we are doing. Including the stomach contents. The way I look at it is its free protein and so much less waste or siren call for other predators.

Yes, Kiki, sit out there til it comes out then block the hole. You can use a coon trap too. after/if you catch it just walk up calm and slow, cover the trap then Throw it in a pond.

maybe try sticking so type of noise maker (electronic) under the deck so that they decide to move on their own. Or call local animal control and see what they suggest.
