Yep! I should probably put muscle cream on now but I don't think I can get up lol
Honestly that first pic looked weird. Eye looked sunken and I couldn't see the wing! I bet they cracked the egg open to speed things up. That vein in the umbilical cord looked thick to me.

correct, too thick for the chick to detach. but what they are seeing that scares them is the hatching debris. The yolk is probably not as bad as crunchys ?

Poor Scooter. Too bad they dont slip him a micky. You can imagine being picked up in america and dropped in a foreign country with no English spoken ? They here comes someone strange with scary metal objects poking you. mayby not a good analogy but you get the drift ..

Crunchys was bad. I'd say half of his yolk was out when he hatched. I worried it'd rupture, thankfully about half that was out absorbed overnight. Still left a good size piece behind. I'll try to get a pic of his back end tomorrow. It's ugly but will heal.
 
I think that is the chicks intestines . Not 100%
