Granny's gone and done it again

Good for the scare tactic, but in reality, maybe there's a good option somewhere in between 2 acres and an apartment... for the future.

Camping, similar thing was happening to someone on a CA thread, and it ended up being mold. The chickens got fungus in their lungs and it eventually did them in. Necropsy confirmed and then she found the mold under a waterer. I think you should get the necropsy done.
Oops, too late. on the mold.
any house you own will need weed whipping. It dont matter big or small. In the city it would have t be kept up no matter or tickets .

:( Oh, bad things just keep piling on. sigh :hugs

I was actually thinking about that this am. calling a meeting and discussing being able to stay here. Getting rid of all chickens and indoor pets and moving to an apt.
That sounds terrible to me. I would hate living in an apartment. And i would miss the animals too much.

Guess it's time to call in @casportpony?

Kathy, what would make juvenile (~3mos) chicks waste away? Mine had a bad bout of cocci, I lost 7 then. I treated with corrid and the rest rallied, but I'm still finding them like this. They just lay down and die. It doesn't present like the cocci I've seen before.
Its been years since i treated cocci, but are there not two different medications you should use , one after the other?
