Granny's gone and done it again

The child came from a very broken home. That's why she spent so much time with my gd. Mother always said she treated her, but if she did she didn't do it right. Worst thing about it is that spring she had stayed out at my house overnight with gd the first outbreak. So I not only had to go thru all the treatment procedures at dd house but had to do it at my house as well grr....
uffda

Sorry Camp, dealing with lice is nasty. Gd had a school friend that shared with her often :hit:mad: Make sure you spray the couch & other surfaces. To be on the safe side treat your son too. I would itch so bad just thinking about it as I treated her. She had very thick, long hair. Plus one of the ingredients in the treatment I was allergic to, made breathing very difficult. I always treated myself too because it just weirded me out too much not too.

My skin is crawling. DH assures me I'm fine. He checked pretty thoroughly.

I've not had lice yet. I say yet because I work with children. Every day after work my mom and I give each other lice checks. I'd freak out if we found any on us. I feel for you camp. Where did she get it?

She was a camper he last week of June. That seems like a long time ago, but this looked like a full-blown infestation. BUT she had her hair braided several times this week and no one said anything? Honestly I have no idea. Camp would make the most sense, but she could've hugged or shared headgear with anyone since then.

Honestly CPS is a joke. We've had kids with lice, bed bugs, TAPEWORM and even scabies. They do nothing. On the one family they supposedly had a court date but they moved and it was dropped. I think they should track em down myself. Charges should go with them.
They do absolutely nothing, have had family go thru h3ll & back over my great nephews. They were removed from their mother for 15 months, mother did none of the 3 pages of requirements in order to be reunited, but the night before she was to lose her parental rights she got married. CPS thought this was enough to grant her parental rights back. They are a FARKING joke, excuse my french.

Well up here at least the School systems take all of those things very seriously and any kid with things like that are sent home until "cured"
They get treated and have to be clean of it to be back at school (nurse checked) BUT within 2 weeks are infested again. The ones missed so much school they had to be retained. I'm talking almost half the school year. The parents are a piece of work.
