Here, we just grumble a bit more because the ploughs make huge ice mounds at the edges of our driveway and it takes a while to chip thru them.

lol I could ee us southerners now trying to make a flame thrower to melt it all.

Sometimes it does get dangerously high, though.... Snow occasionally covers doors and traps people in. That's why you always have a food stock downstairs.
We would just die lol. For some strange reason all we buy if we are supposed to get a blizzard (like 3 whole inches) is bread and milk.

Now that's dumb. Get the important stuff, like beer. ;)

What are you guys gonna do if you do get a real blizzard.... Sit wrapped in sheets eating soggy bread?

:gig that' what I use to stock up on. While everyone was scambling around looking for bread and milk, I wa stocking up on beer salsa and chip. I honestly don't know why people do the bread and milk thing here. I don't worry about it. I like driving in it too.

The biggest snow that I've ever seen here was 18 inches. We usually don't hardly get nothing. Anyway when we got the 18 inches, I drove my little pontiac sunfire to the only store in town that was actually open and passed a man pulling another man out of the ditch. They both had 4wd. On my way back I saw the same people about 100 yards up from where they were stuck before and both of them were stuck again lol.

Why bread & milk? I don't get it, honestly. If you don't have a generator, fire up the grill & make burgers. :drool

:lau Southerners never fail to amuse me. Still, their summer tyres can't be much use in any sort of snow.
