I agree 100%. The amount of likes should be enough to rank an article of being worthy. The mods already choose good ones to be featured.

Only relevant questions would be: Was this article helpful? or Would you recommend this to a friend? Only time voting is appropriate is when someone enters a contest. If you enter your article in a contest, fine, but if you write one just to share or be helpful, having it "graded" is unnecessary and, as Twist said, will discourage people from doing it. Too much like school grades, only half the time, people voting don't know any more than the author... maybe less.

I'll have to look into that some day. Definitely far better with a camera than a pencil.

I think I may have gotten a touch of heat exhaustion/stroke today. Was in the big paddock where the "goat" barn is digging out Wormwood plants. And found some hensbane as well that looks like some one may have munched it a little. Guess I will know if one of the yearlings drops dead with in the next 6 to 9 months.

Sometimes those plants can affect you just by handling them. You might actually be a bit high... or poisoned. Not much difference really.

Hope you feel better soon. I got the same way today. I had a little welding to do on the trailer after I cut grass. Thought that I was going to pass out before I could get inside. I really think it's diabetes . Took awhile after eating and laying down but I finally feel better.

If you have diabetes, you need to get treatment. That disease can really do a number on you. Take care of yourself, dear, you only have one body. Glad you arw feeling better.

Doc ask me every time I go in if I want meds for it. I don't want the meds that I'm taking now. But since this isn't the first time that this has happened I may tell him about it next time I go in.
