Actually, we had two bedrooms upstairs for small breeding cages or flights, and used the whole basement for walk in flights, divided into four areas. I would walk in to feed them and they would land on my shoulders. Deep litter, so no smell. I loved it.Nice to meet you, Arbed.

Oh man I can't imagine 10. I gotta say ducks are messier and stinkier that chickens.
Good, i still need to take the snake for a ride. There were kids riding an ATV up and down the road at high speed, no helmets and spraying gravel every time they made the circular turn at the end of the road where our driveway starts. We just paid to get that graded because there were deep ruts there, probably from atvs. So i got on my mule and followed them home. Talked to their mother. Hopefully that will stop. First time i met the neighbors, lol. But i just kind of chatted and talked to her nice. Found out interesting stuff about the area... like we have coyotes. Anyway, i invited her to come by. So a bit later the kids come by and want to see the animals. I didn't mind, but it did set me back on painting time.Nothing much, just got home.. Grocery day, ugh!!
I hate that...I known the rains needed but it only seems to raine once I hang clothes out on the line.lol

Small birds have tiny poo. I had chicks in the bathtub one winter, they did get smelly.
They sure are.
Cooking is fun!We have that problem here too. Folks ride out past our place to the bluff, 4X4 trucks or four-wheelers required!
