They are sorta funny when they get scared and jump in the air like poofy little popcorn balls.

I never saw mine do that. But the leghorns used to freak out about everything. I got rid of them.

Alas, my dreams are shattered by Arbed. I was going to train mine to read and write.

Maybe they could do short hand.

Leghorns definitely require special handling. With practice, you can get 'em fairly tame... If you get them young.

LOTS OF DRAMA around here today. Earlene , Sherry and Sheila's mother and the wife of George. All upset because the nursing home BANNED her from her electric wheel chair and had daughter come and pick it up. Will not be allowed on the home's property again. Because she was/is a menance in it backs into everything, runs over or knocks over anything in her way. The home actually had to send one of their staff in for XRAY"S because Earline drove over the gals foot. Earlene is a "healthy sized lady" like 250 or better and the chair is around 300 pounds.

Mine are more into the arts. I am still looking for a piano for them.

Most of them have the lights on, but nobody home. I like my real birds.
Gotta admit they're good comic relief, albeit annoying when I have to rescue them from the bushes.

What do you consider real birds? And what are they doing in the bushes?
