Hi Everyone. Just got off the phone with Pam and she says thank you all for caring so much. And @Yorkshire Coop, I gave her your message, made her laugh real good, and she says quit spitting on her!
She is doing well, but of course would rather be home. The nurses seem to be treating her good, with exception of not letting her smoke. haha She's not quitting either, which I knew, but can always hope. She's got a big bruise on her arm and another purple one on her a$$end that hurts and she says she wants Twist to come kiss it and make it all better. Even laying in the ICU, granny is still granny.
Chance is good that she will go home tomorrow if there is no chest pain, and she will see her heart doctor for any further treatment.
Looks like she avoided the Big One this time. Starting to think Pam is part cat, but she needs to quit using up those lives!

It was a blocked stent. Has been blocked for awhile and damage occurring for awhile. They caught it just in time. She said had the weather been better, they would have taken her to Lexington by helicopter! It was an emergency.

They may have a full schedule of emergent and elective cases. To be honest, if she smokes and is not compliant with her diet they are not going to make her top priority. Sorry, but true.

What can I give up. I don't smoke, consume flour or sugar or potatoes, & very little chocolate. Hummm. Red meat? That would be a healthy move.
