Granny's gone and done it again

Had a busy day. Picked corn for chickens. Got 2 containers full. Picked up pecans again. Carried all of them to feed store that cracks & shells them for $1.20/lb. picked up dd shelled pecans. Got $240 worth of groceries. Not enough meat to last a week. Dh said he would keep money for more. If not i guess we ll eat veggies & cornbread. Got home & friend wants me to get all the pecans i want from her backyard. Also has black walnuts that i love to put in persimmon or pumpkin bread. Oh my aching back.

BESTIESSS!! This is our first meal but I'm excited!

Searing afterwards us the only way to go. You guys are gonna love that thing. We found that it can have trouble at the higher temps keeping the temp steady, so we will cover the top with foil. It also heats up a bit faster that way.
