Granny's gone and done it again

Good morning sweet peeps! Currently 84F, 62% humidity. No rain today, well probably none. But rain for sure Monday and probably Tuesday. Been getting stuff done before it gets too wet. Planting some late season stuff. Pulling out spent crops. Planting some more late stuff. Working on inside fittings for henhouse.

Gave the biddies their morning treats and threw in some fresh grass clippings and fallen leaves. Didn't see the 4" baby brown rough snake in it, but those chickens did! I was laughing too hard to take pics, but they all got their exercise today! I was afraid a couple of them were going to break their fool necks crashing into stuff as they ran around squawking. I think every one of the 25 had that snake at one time or another. Silly birds.

in regards to the snake NOTHING like chicken football to amuse a person. IT was a combo dinner Robert's and Mine. We may actually start doing it that way.

hahaa It wasnt raining. I wanted to mow. radar says it is and now it is.
