Guinea pig poop, like rabbit poop, can go right on your garden with no composting needed. But if you do have wormy pigs, burying it like that is probably a good idea.

I just have guinea fowl right now. Used to have guinea hogs. Nice animals.

Just reading about mites makes you itchy. Chiggers are the worst ever. They suck your fluids through a tube that they leave in your skin! Disgusting and they just keep on itching.
