Granny's gone and done it again

We had to rebuild about a 1/3 of the leantoo attached to the goat barn. (where yearlings are) because a wind decided it was just easier to push the walls out. Roof was just handing there. So cut 4x4 and 6x6 for supports and used bobcat to lift the roof up enough to pound in the supports and then had to run into town to Menards for the siding. Used the same type as I used on the dairy barn. The yearling's were busy inspecting everything we did. Snuffeled the tools, wood, flatbed trailer, truck. And licked the truck. Then would come over and check out what we were doing. The old walls are now in the burn pit.

Unloaded the truck, had supper and went to work on the skylight. Cut the boards, painted them and took the shower doors apart. Got two nice pieces of glass, will end up about 2x8, so it will let in a lot of light. The roof is only 10 feet so most of the roof length will be clear in the middle of the coop. Nice that it is privacy glass, so if a hawk flies over it can't see the chickens. Excited. I am afraid it is going to rain tomorrow and i really want to work outside.

Lauren and me didn't get no nap today she was so tired she was hyper if that makes any sense. But she was bouncing off the walls I finally got her to bed . Now it's my turn , y'all play purity .

LOVE the skylight idea. Mine needs windows. It has none.
I was able to fall asleep through the pain and Tom decided an hr. was enough so he woke me then went to bed himself. Neck is hurting worse then ever so I figured I would go mow for a while. I got one small side done . I am going to need more gas before I can finish.
