Mornings, Found this on my FB memories from 2 yrs. ago. still in the same spot. except it is toasty in my room now thanks to @ChickenLady2014

oooh!!! I found what I want for Christmas. unfortunately I haven't been that good of a girl ! Lowes has one of those electric fire places With the mantel same color as my bedroom for 200 dollars. been looking at those for a couple yrs. they run 4-5 hundred. Its so cold in there . maybe i will buy it and pass on the electric bill this month ! LOL of course one is no good without the other. So, I had an interesting day yesterday. I went to go buy a "buddy bird" for my little chick . they need company and i ended up buying 2 silkies. while i was in town i also rescued 19 tiny bantam chicks from a woman whos cat was eating them. no, i didnt need them and i had someone who was going to share then changed their mind. anyway, i get home, put the 2 silkies in their cage, check on my baby then go out to the barn to deal with the 19. one of them jumped from my hand and was running like the devil was after him. I was looking for about an hr. and got a hit ! I had it cornered. for a very brief second my mind said, should you be doing this but i was on my knees in the gravel before i could finish the thought. it hurt my knees bad so i sat down.( more cushion there) and I found the cats litter box. I was sitting in **** ! I made a grab for the baby and of course i missed. it ran to the great outdoors. the cat chased it back into the barn and i thought, If the cat cant catch it i am not going to be able to. thats when i realized i couldnt get up. I sat there for about 20 min. but no help was to be found. I ended up pushing the file cabinet over trying to use it . i finally could reach a shelf on the wall and i pulled myself up with it. I managed to dislocate my shoulder , pull some muscles and used my bad foot to get up. I did get my shoulder back in place but every thing else i have right down to my fingers hurt. I am in pain, I have cat **** on me and little purple bruises on my tush. The baby chick?? the cat ate it. I am no better then the woman i got it from. the chicken i hatched in the house and i went to get a buddy bird for?? It had died while i was outside. today was soo much better then yesterday. NOT ! and that Dear Santa, is why i need that heater.
