I am not as impressed with the Delaware's as I had hoped and just don't like the looks TBH So far Lorps have pretty much been my go to bird. But there are such a pain to clean, white skin and black pin feathers just don't work well when butchering. The wyandotts' clean beautifully and taste great BUT takes them to long to get to a large/extra large egg.

Granny, my theory is, CPS told you the kids were coming tonight. They wanted to make sure that news didn't give you another heart attack. They were just testing your heart. You passed.

I thought the same thing. Thought it was drs that did the stress tests and I did have chest pain today. I am not sure what Im in for.

Just the 4 yearlings. After the first round I was sort of afraid they might kick over from heat exhaustion. I have never seen tongues hang out that far.

I sort of figured it would "take/sink in " about as much as trying to get a liberal to vote conservative.

I can't wait to find out how many of my 11 weekers are hens or roos. Way to many youngin' to feed. Some I can tell for sure, but others are questionable.
