That video reminded me of a few years back when I was in a stand hunting. My uncle got there later than I and I could see him walking the edge of the field going to his stand. When he got to the opposing woodline and walked into the woods I looked about 200 yards behind him and there was a coyote trailing him. He didn't get my text until he was in his stand. He never even seen it. It went in the exact path that he took. I couldn't get a shot on the coyote for the brush. We have way to many here. Wildlife has put a bounty on their heads this year. Whoever kills one that is tagged will get $500. But you have to have killed 50 to get your prize.

haha! yes. That was the wrong video. Way more interesting, but not the one near me. I changed it so you can see the mama and 2 big cubs that were up on the hill 2 years ago. Neighbor got the footage from one of his many trail cams.

What does the doctor say about your hands and arms? Is it spinal stenosis?

You have to kill 50!! Too dry here in summers to support that many coyotes in the area. Wonder if the one trailing after your uncle was looking to steal game from him.

That's very possible. I doubt very seriously that he was sizing him up. There's too many other things around here for it to eat. As many as we have here I can't recall anyone being chased by one. I'd be scared to have small children by themselves outside though. Around here they usually hunt in packs. We hear them almost every night. Well I don't unless they're almost in the yard lol.

It's not as bad today. Pearl is getting surgery on hers the 29th. After she has hers and if it's not too bad I may see if they'll do mine if I can build up the nerve lol

We used to have a pack of coyotes up on the hill and ridge behind where we live. They moved on a few years ago... because a mountain lion moved in!

lol Honestly I like being close to wild animals. I've always been drawn to danger like killer bears , tornadoes the wife. lol.
