Granny's gone and done it again

good morning all. I was winning the battle with the sucker chair until mid evening.

Talked to Robert and something got into the young birds, got a hamp and 2 of the whites, ate one head partially and the "bottoms" of the other 2.
Sounds like possum

Gotta do what you gotta do lol
The last bunch of EE's I got (2016) still can NOT seem to lay large eggs. And yet the 3 or 4 years olds mostly do. Maybe like wine EE;s have good and bad hatch years.

They are sure hardy, and don't think I have lost one to any type of prediator or to old age yet either ( or not enough to remember)

I wonder what the yaks and chickens will think/do
Chickens go to roost, and yaks do whatever yaks do when it gets dark at night; probably lay down & go to sleep would be my guess

except I don't think they make it this far north, have never heard/seen such any way. I was thinking maybe a young coon. Trap has been set, Since the killer left "bait"
I thought 'possum 'cause they like to eat the back end out of a chicken.

If that agent was supposed to be there @ 10 & he's not there yet, I'd go ahead with whatever I'd normally be doing; let HIM catch up to YOU. Why inconvenience yourself over his lack of respect for your time?
