Moved chickens to the breeding pens except the 5 polish. 2 roos wore me out wrangling them. They are so heavy. Had to move 5 hens also. Started ferment ing 5 gallons of wheat yesterday. Reminder to self to start feeding it on Thursday. Gonna bred birchen roo with my black & EE hens. Don't know what I'll get from that. Hoping for black chicks & some birchen Gonna bred barred roo with all my barred hens(mostly BRs). And of course some polish chicks wanted. 3 pens for breeding & 1 for eating eggs.

Married at 23. Babies born at 25, 26, 27. Wanted 2 born 18 months apart. God gav e me a third sweet child- a son.

Bubba came in to fuss at me in his sleep and mid-sentence he puked everywhere.

Poor Bubba. Hope he didn't have blueberries for desert. That's the worst to clean up. Are you a sympathy barfer? Sometimes the smell gets to me but I fight it... don't want to clean up more.

Another cool foggy morning. Tomato plants are shivering and staying green in protest. Wonder if I can con hubs into a little greenhouse... I sure would love to grow some tomatoes that could get ripe.

We had popcorn and m&ms for supper, guess it was a lethal combo. Once his belly was empty he stopped. This smelled like straight poop. DD was on the floor in my room (because Eimear is in DD's room) and she immediately sat up and said "WHAT'S THAT SMELL??"

We managed to survive the night, DH took DD to school, and I slept til 10:40. e

how about just a cheapie for this batch. stick a couple stakes around the plants and then wrap/cover with heavy clear plastic. Just make sure you can "get back into the plants" or put a sticker on that say's do not open until Christmas.

for me is depends on what they have eaten as to weither I "join in" or not with puke. Dogs not so bad, humans and cat's can be iffy.
