Granny's gone and done it again

I'll never get caught up, and no time to try now, so I'll just say "Hi" and move forward. I've got my house full! 11 folks from the coast sheltering with us, 4 of them pre-teens. Oh. And two big dogs and a cat. Just glad they aren't toddlers!

Rain started here this morning a little, got bigger early afternoon, now just heavy overcast and humid. Been cooking and trying to make everyone comfortable. Started getting ready last week, so plenty of food made ahead, bought lots of extra TP and stuff guests go through. Grateful to be able to do this small thing for them and offer a safe harbor in the storm. I couldn't forgive myself if anything happened to any of them for not having a place to go!

The first order were guineas and i ordered 16 i think. Four got killed by the snake i have 3 half grown Ameraucanas in with them. The second order i got 24 chicks and all are doing well so far.

Glad they are doing well.

Yep, then add an egg or two, stir, add cornmeal or flour. Fry in Skillet on top of stove or in a 400* oven for an hour.
