Oo, very frustrating. Not sure what the law is on LA, but if something is marked, store has to see it for the price. Never had a manager argue over it. Most want repeat customers. Times are tough for retail stores.
I miss the rant guy too. Cathartic... always made me feel better.

I've had similiar experienceS with DG. Unfortunately that's all we have in our small town.

I just put 2nd bunk together all by myself. Hands are trembling and back hurts really bad but Git er done !! One to go. Now, how to get it up there.... LOL

Lost a keet. It was in the water, but I think it got chilled and either fell or was pushed. They were all pretty damp. They're in the brooder under heat now.

They're on shavings, but DH mowed yesterday so I made them a nice little nest from the dry grass.

Hi grannyland, darling husband thinks he's funny & trying to outfox the fox. He has been determined to put out containers of my ripening tomatoes. I have told him & told him that I don't give a rats patooty if people were looking for tomatoes "SO AM I" I am not going to eat store bought canned tomatoes if I have a say in it, but he continued to sneak them out all weekend. Went out yesterday to see if the card table tomatoes were good to go & all that was left on the table under the news paper were orange ones. Well I went to CL searching early this morning & tracked down 2 bushel which I purchased this afternoon. This momma is having freshly canned tomatoes for the winter. If we end up getting some in the end my sister & mom want some, so we are all good.

Granny ~ great job on the bunk beds ~ YOU GO GIRL! Have each one of those boys grab a leg & lift. Just don't put the mattress on the frame. Lift that up separately.
