Granny's gone and done it again

DD had awful horrible diaper rash as a baby. Cracked skin, blisters, bleeding, the works. The pedi told us to mix half diaper cream and half GENERIC athletes foot cream. That cured it every time. He said most fungus strains were immune to the name brand stuff, but the off-brand still worked.

My daughter got her B.S. in Psychology in 2012 and is currently working on her master's in biotechnology while working in a lab.
As for myself...I share a one-bedroom apartment with her in the middle of town and there are no chickens here. I would like to do some homesteading if I ever get my hands on some land. You chicken people give me hope

Monday night low was 38 and tues was 40 I actually turned my fan down to low speed

49* this am. News last night predicted 20-40 mph winds here on Monday. I bought water, bread,& canned meat in case the power goes off. Don't usually need to prepare but better safe than sorry. We were without power for 6 days after hurricane opal.

one of the grocery stores is running a ONE DAY ONLY sale which I hate BUT they have cloverdale thick cut bacon on sale for 4.00 a pound limit 4, shoot I can walk in and out of the same store a couple times.
