they currently are still in the "maternity ward. The lorps with go into gen pop, the hamps down in to the annex aka little duex coop and the white's will stay in the maternity ward.

I do 18 pee wee aka diet eggs for a buck.

oh and white eggs don't sell up here as "farm fresh eggs" Must be colored. I also have at least one olive egger what a nasty color.

good thing you have all the sheds and such waterproofed already just in case some need an little alone/peaceful time.

The guy is supposed to be back tomorrow to work on the electric some more. I wish he would just hurry up already. Our deck has no railing at all on one end right now! Husband took some 2x4s tonight and quickly screwed them on so the stairs have a rail now. I have been without that since May. Suddenly, it is up!
He is taking a shopping trip tomorrow to stock up on stuff the kids like. And to get my prescription the pharmacy forgot to get ready yesterday.
I still have a lot of cleaning to do. Sigh, my least favorite activity.

Just got word our oldest son and his wife and 4 kids are on their way here. They should arrive tomorrow depending on traffic and availability of gas. That is exciting! Have not seen them since May. The cats are going to go nuts cooped up in my room all the time. The younger daughter is allergic to cats. I have major clean up to do around here. Glad i washed dishes and clothes already today.

People have the idea that brown eggs taste better than white eggs, 'specially if they're used to buying eggs at the local grocery store.

On fb it was said/suggested that these were some of the local semi-feral birds, and that the hens were in cages/crates/kennels. Might explain the differences in combs? I think most game breeds don't have those comb types (to minimize damage).
