Granny's gone and done it again

seems like I put mine in a hot bath for 45 but it has been a while and I dont remember.
That's how my one grandma did hers. I tried that when I first started canning myself, but I didn't like how the tomato seperated & was pale in color. When you open kettle it cooks off most of the water, but it has to be done safely.
