wattles are the only way I can tell the difference. They all holler at the same time .

Aw, he just loves you and not so much Robert. Robert threatens pup's position as alpha dog.

Oh I'm not done canning tomatoes, got 13 qrts done on Wed. & 7 pints of green beens on Tuesday. With the cast on now I'm able to do more. Have had a pair of rubber gloves that were always too big. Fits great over the cast so I could take the skins off the blanched tomatoes without getting it all gunky. Takes longer to do everything but I steaming on.

Well, I sure feel like a lazy lout. Canning away WITH a broken wrist.

Keets have dinosaur heads. I can see the difference in the wattles.

Granny is Robert scared of him at all since he nipped him before? My dd & SIL have a dog that is old & has eye troubles. He was good with me in the beginning & then one day out of the blue when I took him to the field to potty he come running up to me wanting to play & I moved to sudden to rub his head & he snapped at me grabbing my hand in his mouth. He did not bite me, but his growl & him doing that that scared me. I haven't had the best of luck where big dogs are concerned so have always been leary of a larger breed dog. He must sense my fear now. He won't even come out of his kennel for me to take him to potty while kids are working.

Yep, you blanch them in boiling water for a few seconds, then dump them in the sink in cold water. As long as you did the blanching part, they could help you peel them.
