Granny's gone and done it again

I went out , picked tomatoes and peppers. Watered the veggies and flowers. Not a breeze at all today. Feels hot in that sun! Picked up some hickory nuts and back into the house. I am making myself plant those mums today. Pretty yellow ones! My fav color in flowers.

Went to church this am. 1st time in a month I was able to sit upright for an hour. Got another silkie egg. It was on the ground. Grrrr I put 4 clean eggs in the turner so we are off to collecting up to 41 eggs for incubation. 10 days away from day to set eggs by the signs of the moon. Plant behind chicken pen that I thought was a pumpkin vine has a biggg butternut squash on it.

You just like yellow lol I found some really cool mums a couple weeks ago. They start out a pretty yellow then turn pink.

Too bad you weren’t in Ohio. I’d give you eggs lol my 13 week old chicks are lean but are as big as the ones hatched at Easter!

I can’t stand men, they are so clingy. It’s gonna have to be someone who will leave me alone. If not they’d end up with a pillow over their head.

DH and I are very independent. We have our own friends and hobbies. We take our own trips. We even sleep with our own blankets. He is not my best friend, and I'm not his. We fuss and fight, but we make up. We're great at talking to each other, and explaining our wants, needs, and expectations. Eventually we had a couple kids. And then we got a farm.

But at 17 I was adamant I'd never ever have kids. Married at 21 and first kid at 24.
