Thanks Alley! I knew it needed a deck all the way across the front. We are having him install electric in the goat barn once it is built. The lights arrived today.Looks amazing Cap!
Wow, that log cabin is looking so good. You got a lot of work done today!I got the whole roof of the run secured! There are a couple spots that need attention, but for daytime when i am right there it's ok.
Two Speckled Sussex were the first ones out of the coop and into the run. Two Polish cockerels were staring at each other, raising hackles and just trying to look tough. Hilarious!
I no sooner got done the roof than i started picking up kindling for tonight's fire. Next thing i know, DH is ringing the supper bell.
He has been clearing dead wood and junk bushes around the perimeter of the house. So he has two huge piles to be burned.
After burgers cooked on the grill i went out to water before dark. Had to water the 6 small holly plants that were delivered today. The other 4 got shipped usps and did not show up yet. No idea why they do stuff like that, and when DH called them they had no idea either! View attachment 1151837
Here is the current state of the deck. The one guy lost $80 or 100 bucks somewhere today, he thinks he lost it here. We looked around but nothing so far. I can't believe he doesn't use a wallet.
My clothes mostly dried before dark, the rest are draped on chairs in the house.
I am sitting watching the fire on and off. Not much breeze tonight which is good.
No wonder, them toes look like sausages lolFluttershy keeps sneaking up on me to bite my toes/ankles. Flitter keeps pacing the edge of her cage and peep-screaming.
I think I'm going to try to introduce them tomorrow.
