Granny's gone and done it again

What do you guys think the best rabbit breeds would be for the camp farm? Anything heat tolerant and friendly/docile? I had a dwarf holland lop as a kid (that's what they said she was) and she was fine until she wasn't. Got very mean. We took her to a bunny place called "Hoppy Acres."

I’ve had the best luck with California rabbits. Super friendly but can get big.(10-15lbs) I had some mini lops but they were really mean! The one chewed the others ear off and I’d had them since they were little. They were going to be shown and bred. THAT didn’t happen lol

Mini Rexes are very sweet, and Netherland Dwarf rabbits are the cutest things but can be little devils until hormones calm down.

Yes. I showed them in 4H. I did jr & senior doe, Market pen, breeding pen and I did jr & senior buck. I love the breed. Seal (my first rabbit) was a Californian and was the best one of all I had. She was so mellow and loving. I got her at 7 weeks old and had her until a fox got her at 10.
I've seen those around! They look like velvet. :love
Feel like it too! They are so pretty and you can get just about any color.
